Q Tea Tapas - Fort Lee

Q Tea Tapas, Fort Lee, NJ
I was introduced to bubble tea shortly after moving back to the Tri-State area by my girlfriend, a self-proclaimed connoisseur of the beverage, and now I can easily say it is one of my favorite things. Ice cold fruit flavored teas with tapioca balls or fruity jelly pieces offer a great play on taste and texture - perfect for the summer time. While there are many places that offer bubble tea, one of the best in the Fort Lee area happens to be Q Tea Tapas on Main St. Get yourself one, then take a relaxing stroll downtown and decide what you want for dinner!

The Grub:

Q Tea offers a pretty large variety of fruit teas, milk teas, slushies and other desert-like drinks along with a good selection of boba and jelly to accompany them. Kumquat lemon, blueberry, peach, grapefruit black tea and strawberry lemonade are just a handful of great selections among their fruit teas; paired with mango star jelly, strawberry popping boba or the traditional tapioca bubble, anyway you choose you can't go wrong! If you find you don't feel like venturing too far down the street for eats, don't worry, Q Tea has you covered on that front as well. They offer a small but efficient and tasty selection of made-to-order poke bowls and onigiri rice balls too - all of which are fresh and quite good if I do say so myself.

My Order:

-Passion fruit or kumquat lemon fruit tea with mango star jelly
-Chicken teriyaki onigiri

The Digs:

Nice location on Main Street in Fort Lee, close to a number of other dining options if you feel that bubble tea is a good desert afterward. They operate out of a recently renovated, modern storefront with a small collection of high-top bar tables if you need a seat for a quick meal. Service is always prompt and friendly, do note though that they can get quite busy on a nice day or summer night. Also worth noting is that they share a storefront with a creperie next door with their own menu of delicious treats if you feel so inclined. The only drawback here is parking, the large municipal lot has been closed for months, leaving street parking and the small municipal lot as your only options.

The Nitty Gritty:

One of the most refreshing treats in town!
